The Promontory @ Marina Bay was selected as the venue for the Bay Celebrations to provide greater accessibility for Singaporeans to join in the NDP festivities. The Promontory provides an excellent vantage point for spectators to experience the live fireworks and NDP aerial and maritime display.

The NTUC x Bay Celebrations on both 3 August 2024 (Preview) and 9 August 2024 can accommodate up to 7,500 attendees per day.

Participants of the Bay Celebrations will receive NDP Packs.

Light refreshments will be provided, on a complimentary basis. This is in addition to the items available in the Bay Celebrations’ attendees’ NDP packs.

The activities at the Bay Celebrations will be inclusive, with access lanes for those with mobility challenges.

NTUC has been a key partner in nation building since 1961. We are honoured to co-organise the Bay Celebrations with NDP 2024 EXCO. This National Day, we look forward to hosting our fellow Singaporeans at the Promontory and celebrating our nation’s 59th birthday with them.

The gates will open at 3:00pm (SGT), and we encourage you to arrive early as there will be multiple checkpoints to clear.

Yes, pregnant women can attend the NTUC x NDP Bay Celebrations 2024.

Additionally, it's recommended to consult with a healthcare professional for personalized advice based on the individual's pregnancy stage and any specific medical considerations.

It's advisable to wear comfortable clothing and shoes, stay hydrated, and take breaks as needed.

Attendees are advised to dress appropriately for the outdoors. We encourage you to wear red and white to celebrate our nation's birthday!

To ensure everyone’s safety and security and prevent overcrowding, all attendees of the Bay Celebrations will need to hold a valid ticket. Walk-ins will not be allowed. Ticket applications has closed. Successful applicants will be notified via email by 15 July 2024.

All Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents are eligible to apply for one pair of tickets.
Tickets will be balloted and only distributed to those who are successful in the ballot.

We are expecting a very high number of applications for the Bay Celebrations event, and we may not be able to accommodate all attendees’ date preferences. Assigning attendees a show date will allow us to give all attendees the best chance of securing a ticket. Participants will not be allowed to change the date of the tickets they are assigned to.

The ticket application window is strictly from 24 June 2024 to 12:00pm (SGT) on 8 July 2024. We regret to inform you that we are unable to extend the window or accept any appeals.

The ballot results will be released through email notification by 15 July 2024. Kindly be informed that only successful applicants will be notified, via the email address provided during the application process. The notification will only be sent from ndpbaycelebrations2024@ntuc.org.sg. Kindly check the spam/junk mailbox.

Unfortunately, no appeals on the ticket application results are allowed. Other than NTUC x NDP Bay Celebrations 2024 at the Promontory, there are also a range of NDP-related activities that are open to the public. These include Heartland Celebrations on 10 August 2024, where you can enjoy performances and activities.

Please ensure you are able to attend the celebrations when applying. If you are unable to attend, you may pass the tickets to your loved ones to attend on your behalf. However, please exercise caution to ensure that the tickets are not misused.

Successful applicants may collect their tickets from 19 to 21 July 2024, 10:00 am (SGT) to 9:00pm (SGT), at Great World Atrium Level 1. The nearest MRT station is Great World MRT. Successful applicants must bring along their IC for verification. If successful applicants are sending someone to collect tickets on their behalf, an authorisation form is required.

Successful applicants must present the unique QR code included in their notification email to redeem their tickets. Please note that the QR code is valid for one-time use only and should not be shared with others to avoid any issues during the redemption process.

Successful applicants must bring along their NRIC (Physical or Digital via Singpass App) for verification during the ticket collection event.

Due to logistic challenges, the tickets can only be collected between 19 to 21 Jul 2024.

You can authorize a family member or friend to collect your tickets by forwarding the successful ballot notification email, and a clear copy of your NRIC photo to the family member/friend. The family member/friend will have to bring along a copy of his/her own NRIC copy when collecting the tickets.

Please note that the QR code in the email is linked to the applicant's personal details, and any misuse of the tickets will be traced back to the original applicant.

Do bring your physical tickets for entry and avoid carrying bulky items such as large bags and large umbrellas. This will help expedite security checks and ensure a smooth entry for all attendees.

Successful applicants are responsible for the safekeeping of their tickets, as lost or damaged tickets will not be replaced.

Children, including infant child and babies in arms, are allowed to attend the NTUC x NDP Bay Celebrations 2024. Everyone will require a ticket for entry, regardless of age.

Anyone who attend NTUC x NDP Bay Celebrations 2024 must have a ticket. You can bring your friends or loved ones with you as long as they have a ticket.

NTUC x NDP Bay Celebrations 2024 tickets are only allocated through application and are strictly NOT FOR SALE. Any attempts to sell the tickets will result in them being rendered void. Actions will be taken against offenders.

NTUC x NDP Bay Celebrations 2024 tickets are strictly NOT FOR SALE and should not be purchased through unauthorised channels, as these pose a high risk of fraud or scams. Tickets obtained from such sources may be rendered void, and those holding such tickets may be denied entry to the venue. If you come across any unauthorised sale of tickets, please report it to the NTUC x NDP Bay Celebrations 2024 committee or the authorities.

The Bay Celebrations and the Padang Show are two separate events. It will not be possible to trade the Bay Celebrations tickets for the Padang Show and vice versa.

As an NTUC Starter member, you will be accorded 2 additional ballot chances when you apply for tickets.

Applications for volunteers have closed. You would receive an email confirmation by 15 July 2024 if shortlisted as a volunteer.

If you have applied but did not receive confirmation email, you will be in our reserved list. We will notify you by 24 July 2024 if you are shortlisted.

All volunteers are required to attend the following:
  1. A mass briefing conducted on 27 July 2024, 12pm – 6pm.
  2. Volunteer during the NTUC x NDP Bay Celebrations Pre-Event (3 August) or NTUC x NDP Bay Celebrations (9 August) or both.

Volunteers must be:
  1. 18 years old and above
  2. Able to commit to dates stated above.
  3. As the event is close to 8 hours, volunteers must be able to stand for long hours outdoors.
  4. Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Volunteers will be briefed about their duties.
